Net Business Labs
About

We’re here to back up reality.

Founded in 2010 by Ram Yogi Velagapudi. London-led, India-delivered. We modelled the world's buildings once — now we make reality run as software.

Net Business Labs started in 2010 with one specialism: 3D modelling at volume, done well. By 2014 we were one of three vendors trusted by Google to build the original 3D buildings layer for Google Maps — a 50-person team in our India base shipping at the volume only an industrial-grade pipeline can.

Since then we’ve done a thousand more projects across furniture, architecture, product, industrial and retail. Some of our work hangs in Carnaby Street showrooms. Some sells residential towers off-plan. Some trains warehouse staff how to operate machinery they’ll never touch in real life.

In 2024 we rebuilt the company around AI — and stopped thinking of ourselves as a studio that makes pictures. Every product, space and site we touch becomes a QA’d 3D master, and from that spine we ship living software: catalogues that heal themselves, campaigns that compile overnight, worlds you can train and time-travel in.

The flagship ambition is the honest version of our origin story: capture everything that matters, before it changes. We backed up the world’s buildings for Google once. Now we do it for the places that matter to you.

Google Maps 3D buildings layer

From 2010 to 2014 our 50-person team in India was one of three vendors trusted by Google to model the world’s buildings for what became the 3D Maps layer. That contract is what trained our QA, art-direction, and pipeline practices — the same disciplines we now apply to every furniture catalogue and product launch we ship.

Why we exist now

Thesis
AI changes economics
One photoreal master + diffusion variations = catalogue depth at a third the cost. Studios still doing it the old way are about to feel it.
Thesis
Craft still matters
AI alone produces generic output. The master shot still has to be hand-crafted by senior 3D artists. We are that team.
Thesis
Speed is the moat
London-led project management, India-based senior delivery means a 14-day catalogue turn is a normal week, not a fire drill.
